THE CONFRERES

WHO ARE THE CONFRERES?

The Confreres, the Coterie Support Group of Hawthorn Football Club, was founded in 1961 by a small, keen group of Hawthorn members, including Sir Henry Winneke, former Governor of Victoria, who became the first President of the Confreres. Today, the Confreres is one of the league’s longest established coterie groups with a history of strong financial support of the Club.

The Confreres;

  • Are a group of mostly business and professional people bought together by a great love for the Hawthorn Football Club.

  • Provide support to both the Hawthorn Football Club and the Box Hill Hawks and their players.

  • Enjoy regular match day hospitality and premium seating at both the MCG (Ryder Room) and Marvel Stadium in a relaxed, family friendly environment.

  • Access to all Tasmanian games and the opportunity to travel to other interstate games.

  • Provide a sizeable financial contribution to the Club each year through membership, match day hospitality, donations and non match day events (such as the Player Auction).

  • Enjoy regular access to the players, officials and administrators of the Club. This includes private, inner sanctum access to the Club’s intellectual property.

  • With a range of membership packages to select from, this is an opportunity to get on board with a successful, enjoyable and family friendly coterie group
